We believe it is crucial for us to be meeting in smaller groups during the week. These are spaces where we gather to encourage and pray for one another, and to study and grow together. It is in these small groups where relationships deepen and where we seek Christ together in community.
We currently have four groups that you might want to consider joining:
Mondays at 7:30pm, University Chapel
This is a group that is open to anyone interested in going deeper and spending time in fellowship, bible reading, and prayer. Begins Monday, September 19. Contact Fr. Geoff for details.
Thursdays from 10:00-11:00am, UBC Life Building (1303)
A group for students looking for a simple time to read and discuss scripture together. This year we will be exploring the Gospel of John together. We meet for one hour, though students are welcome to come early or stay afterwards for prayer and discussion. Location: Room 1303 in the UBC Life Building (The UBC Chaplains Office). Begins Thursday, September 15. Contact Fr. Paul for details.
Thursday at 7pm, University Chapel
A group committed to journeying through life together. Time is spent sharing about our weeks and praying for one another. Because of the relational nature of the group, it is important to be able to attend weekly. Begins Thursday, September 22. Contact Sarah for details.
Thursdays at 7:30pm, Arbutus Ridge
Another home group will meet in the Arbutus Ridge neighbourhood. This group will be reading, meditating on, and discussing the Psalms, particularly the ones in our Sunday lectionary. Begins Thursday, September 22. Contact Steven for details.
